Whether Rajinikanth will ever join politics has been a mystery? Added to this were his contradicting statements that left his fans baffled about his political ambitions.

Apparently, Amit Shah wants to create a base for BJP in Jayalalithaa dominated Tamil Nadu and deems that Rajinikanth's presence could help him do that.
