Maharashtra Anti corruption Bureau has raided the homes and offices of senior NCP leader and former PWD Minister Chaggan Bhujbal in connection with the Maharashtra Sadan corruption case.
In the morning at around 9am a team of 18 ACB officers went to the residence of Chaggan Bhujbal and in his office in Nashik to conduct a raid. It continued for two hours, simultaneously another raid is conducted at the office of MET in Santacruz, said ACB officials.
The raids are conducted regarding the two FIR's registered by the ACB against Bhujbal and his family members. Bhujbal is accused of inflating the project cost of the Maharashtra Sadan, a state government guest house in Delhi and of giving government land for dirt cheap rates to a real estate company.
