The day 1 of the only test match scheduled between India and Bangladesh, was completely dominated by the Indian side. Since Kohli elects batting, everyone has predicted India’s choices of striking on their counterpart.
Rain has disturbed the innings, but Indian openers Shikar Dhawan and Murali Vijay ensured no loss of wickets to the local boys of Bangladesh. Vijay has taken perfect opening without runs, but Dhawan has been on roaring for runs and completed his century in 101 deliveries and is on crease with 150 runs.
Vijay, who took 26 balls to open his count, is standing on crease with 89 runs. In Dhawan’s innings, 84 runs came from boundaries, while Murali Vijay had 38 runs from the boondaries.
To cover the yesterday’s shortfall of overs, the day was scheduled to start early, but heavy down pour made the player to wait at their hotel rooms only. If the situation at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah permits, player will resume the game.
