Meet the woman who wants to get Barbie doll's figure by surviving on air and light only. Valeria Lukyanova is training her body to subsist without food as she harbours the desire to become a human equivalent of Barbie, the plastic doll.

The 28-year-old woman has a 50cm waist and practices Breatharianism to maintain her slim figure. Followers of Breatharianism say that they survive only on air and sunlight.

The movement has been under fire for cases of starvation deaths by its followers.

The Ukrainian model and singer has a striking resemblance to barbie doll that resulted in worldwide fame for the woman. Lukyanova believes that her physical appearance will help in spreading her spiritual ideas.

Valeria said that she hasn't been hungry in the recent weeks. The woman hopes that she has reached the stage where she can exist on air and light only, International Business Times reported.
