Tinsel town besties Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are all set to reunite for Harvey Weinstein's maritime survival tale - "A Speck in the Sea".

An adaptation of a story written by Paul Tough for The New York Times Magazine, the film will portray the distressing but true story of “lobsterman John Aldridge, who fell overboard into the Atlantic Ocean in July of 2013 and was forced to use his rubber boots as a flotation device for 12 hours before he was rescued. His best friend on the boat, Anthony Sosinski, woke to find his buddy missing, launching an extensive search for his lost friend,” the Huffington Post reports.

Rachael Horovitz (‘Moneyball,’ ‘Grey Gardens’) will produce the feature along with Jason Blum (‘The Purge,’ ‘Paranormal Activity’) and Weinstein.
