Fans of 'Indiana Jones' movies will have to wait for sometime as there is nothing planned for the next two years. According to reports, Walt Disney Studios has confirmed that nothing has been planned for another series of the adventure movie.
Reports about the adventure series comes two weeks after Paramount Pictures sold marketing and distribution rights of future 'Indiana Jones' films to Disney. Walt Disney Studios have stated that they don't have a story, and that it didn't make sense to produce films at Disney and then get the marketing and distribution done by Paramount, variety.com reported.
"Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" was the first film of the franchise that was released in 1981. In 1984 the prequel, "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was released and "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" hit the screen in 1989. The fourth film, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" from the franchise was released in 2008.
