When you need something quick and easy to kickstart your mornings, a breakfast smoothie is your best answer to the problem.  Healthy and tasty, a glass full of smoothie not only fills you up and sets your metabolism galloping, but also requires lesser toil and time to make. Here is the recipe of one such smoothie, the good old Toasted Coconut and Banana Smoothie.

Toasted Coconut and Banana Smoothie Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar
  • 1 cup toasted coconut (toast in a 350 degree oven for 5-10 min)
  • 2 frozen banana

Toasted Coconut and Banana Smoothie Recipe

In a blender, blitz all ingredients together until thoroughly mixed.

Pour into two glasses and top with coconut flakes.
