Strawberry peanut butter protein smoothie is one helluva lip-smacking, health-boosting, tummy-filling drink that will keep you going for long and strong and keep those unsightly mid-morning temptations away. Ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 frozen banana
splash of vanilla extract (1/4 tsp roughly)
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 scoop protein powder (I use vanilla pea protein that I got from Whole Foods)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Instructions:
Blitz everything together in a blender for a minute. Stop, shake, add some more milk and blend again.
Pour out in a tall glass, top with some cut strawberries and enjoy gulping your yummy health drink.
