The trailer of Rajinikanth’s "Kochadaiiyaan" has finally been released. The first glimpses of the 3D extravaganza reveals the rough plot of the film and also about the other characters in the movie.

Rajinikanth plays a double role in the upcoming movie and Deepika Padukone will be the lead actress of the younger character in the film.

''Kochadaiiyaan'' is India’s first attempt into motion capture technology movie on the lines of 3D films like 'Avatar'. The trailor looks stunning, the graphics are not as great as the Hollywood versions in terms of technology and expertise. But it's great by Indian standards, as revealed by the trailor.

''Kochadaiiyaan'' will see Rajinikanth in the silver screen after a haitus of three years, in six languages.

Directed by Soundarya Ashwin, the movie features Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Sarath Kumar, Nassar and Aadi Pinisetty. Music is by AR Rahman and Resul Pookutty is taking care of the sound design.

The film is scheduled for release on April 11, 2014. For now you can check out the trailer.
