
A massive explosion at Escientia Advanced Sciences Pvt Ltd has left a shock on the nation. The explosion has left 18 dead and 33 injured. Among 33 many were injured seriously and the death toll might increase. According to the dist collector at 2:15 PM on August 21st, when almost everyone went for lunch, the incident took place.
Prime Minister NArendra Modi offered condolences to the kin and also to the injured. The PM has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 Lakh to the kin of the deceased.
Modi wrote, “Pained by the loss of lives due to a mishap factory in Anakapalle. Condolences to those who lost their near and dear ones. May the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakhs from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs 50.000."

At the time of the incident, many were spotted with their skin ripped and peeling off. Bodies were soaked in blood. Kin of the deceased are sitting outside the hospitals requesting for the dead bodies, as one body is yet to be recovered, as the blast left the body in pieces. Officials are planning a DNA test for the unidentified body.
Chandrababu Naidu has assured that he will take severe action and will go to high-level enquiry and he promised to take serious action if the accident was caused due to the management negligence. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited the affected area and kin of the families today.

The remains of 12 of the dead were taken to King George Hospital (KGH), Visakhapatnam and the remaining were sent to Anakapalli Government Hospital. Doctors have completed the postmortem and given the bodies to the kin of the deceased except one. Families are demanding a strict investigation into the incident.
