
This is the first time ever that five high-speed trains starting their operations on the same day. After the Balasore train tragedy, the railway ministry cancelled the launch of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train, which will be launched today. Besides this Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati) – Indore Vande Bharat Express and Bhopal – Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express at Rani Kamalapati Railway station at 10:30 AM. Later Narendra Modi will flag off Ranchi –Patna Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and Goa- Mumbai Vande Bharat Express through a video conference.
With the new Vande Bharat Express. Bheraghat, Panchmarhi, Satpura, Goa, Mumbai and Ranchi, etc tourists will be benefited. With more improved connectivity the train routes will provide the fastest trains for the passenger. This is the first railway event after the tragic Balasore incident which took 288 lives. Dharwad- Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will reach the destination about 30 minutes faster than the existing faster train on the route.
After the train launch Modi will attend a public program at around 3 PM in Shahdol district and he will also visit Pakaria Village in Shahdol. Besides this, there was a tragic incident at New Delhi Railway station, a 35-years old woman died of electrocution on Sunday. She did not receive any first aid and an ambulance attended her only after 40 minutes of the incident. While Railway Ministry is heading towards launching the fastest trains in India, incidents with fewer facilities are raising concerns.
