Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating the Balasore train accident, which claimed 292 lives and injured as many as 1000. CBI already questioned all the persons related to the train accident and as part of it, they already questioned the signal engineer at a disclosed area. CBI on Monday sealed the rented house of the engineer claiming that the signal engineer flew away along with his family. CBI went to their house for investigation and upon their arrival they came to know that the engineer and his family were not present at his house and went absconding.

However, Railway Spokesperson denies the rumours and cleared that all the employees related to the incident are available for CBI investigation and Signal junior engineer Amir Khan has already answered all the questions of CBI. But sealing his house by CBI is turned out to be true and more details are yet to be announced officially. CBI officials visited the accident site on the 16th of June and sealed the engineer's house on the 19th.

The role of a Signal Junior Engineer is very crucial for train operations. Their significant work ensures passengers' smooth and secure train travel. As per the initial investigation, the signal on the line was manipulated. CBI officials also seized the log books and all the documents related to the employees from the station. No train was allowed to stop at Balasore station including Goods, till further notice. All train operations at Bahanagar Bazar Station are suspended.
