A Bhojpuri actress and a model were booked in a prostitution racket by the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Pimpri Chinchwad police.

Police were tipped off over the prostitution at a prestigious five-star hotel. They went through a dummy customer, and an agent in between shared the actress and model photos online. They asked the customer to book a room at the five-star hotel and then police were in action by conducting rides. Police arrested the agent and two women involved in the sex racket. The women use to charge clients Rs 25,000/- for a night and 15,000/- for the afternoon.

The victims (women involved in the prostitution racket) were released after counselling and the agent was booked under sections 370(3), 34 of IPC and Sections 4 and 5 under the Immortal Traffic Act 1956.
