India’s 100 Richest Collective Wealth at 775 Billion USD

The list of Forbes India's Richest for the year 2021 is announced. Indians surpassed the list despite of coronavirus shattering the nation. The 100 top richest Indians are collectively worth 775 billion USD adding 257 billion USD when compared to last year which is a 50 percent gain in the last one year. One-fifth of the additional wealth came from Gautam Adani who raced to the top in a year. He tripled his net worth and reached 74.8 billion USD. Mukesh Ambani is in second place for the third year in a row who happened to be the India's richest person from 2008. More than 80 percent of the richest Indians saw a rise in their net worth and assets. 61 pf them added more than 1 billion USD or more in this year.

Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies got a boost of 10.6 billion USD and he is in the third spot with 31 billion USD. Radhakrishan Damani is in the fourth place with a net worth of 29.4 billion USD. Serum Institute of India founder Cyrus Poonawalla raced to the fifth spot thanks to the coronavirus vaccine Covishield. His net worth is 19 billion USD. Yogesh Kothari of Alkyl Amines Chemicals, Deepak Mehta of Deepak Nitrite, Ashok Boob of Clean Science and Technology, Dr Lal of PathLabs, Mangal Prabhat Lodha and Prathap Reddy of Apollo Hospitals are the six new faces this year who made it to the Forbes.
