A total number of 31,222 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total number of cases reached 3,30,58,843. As per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry, the country witnessed 42,942 recoveries in India in the last 24 hours and the total number of recoveries are said to be 3,22,24,937. There are 3,92,864 active cases of coronavirus in India. With 290 new deaths reported, the total number of deaths reported in India are 4,41,042. The total number of vaccination doses administered in India are said to be 69,90,62,776. Out of the total, 19,688 cases are reported in Kerala along with 135 new deaths in the last 24 hours.

There is a sudden dip in the new cases by 19.8 percent for today. Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram and Karnataka continued to report high number of cases in the country. Kerala alone accounts to 63.06 percent of the total number of cases in the country. The Indian recovery rate is at 97.48 percent. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the nation will soon witness more than 1.25 crore covid jabs on a regular basis and the arrangements are being done for now. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested on September 6th are 15,26,056 and the samples that are tested in total are 53,31,89,348.
