Indian daily tally of Coronavirus at 3.14 Lakhs

The spread of new cases for coronavirus is unstoppable in the country. A total number of 3,14,835 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and this is the highest daily tally in the country till date. 2,104 new deaths are reported yesterday and the deaths too are increasing on a regular basis. 1,78,841 people got discharged in India as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of cases for coronavirus reported till date are 1,59,30,965 and the total number of recovered people from coronavirus are 1,34,54,880 and the death toll in the country reached 1,84,657. There are 22,91,428 active cases for coronavirus in India and the total number of people who took up coronavirus vaccination in India are 13,23,30,644.

The Supreme Court asked a national plan to be released to curb the new number of coronavirus cases in India. Chief Justice of India SA Bobde wanted a record taken from at least six different High Courts. The Indian government will open the registration on CoWin portal from April 24th for the new vaccination drive that will start from May 1st for the people of the country who are aged above 18 years. Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi wrote to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide free vaccination for all the Indians aged between 18 and 45. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee slams the Centre on coronavirus vaccine price disparity. Former Delhi minister and senior Delhi Congress leader AK Walia died due to coronavirus today morning. The Centre said that 146 districts of the country are said to be reporting a positivity rate of more than 15 percent and are a cause of concern.
