An all party meeting was held by Amit Shah to discuss the fight against coronavirus. The national capital is recorded with a rapid increase of COVID-19 cases. Today’s meeting is after he held a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. There are new and better measures to contain the virus which is widespread in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister The meeting was to manage the health condition in the regions of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The parties that attended the meeting are Aam Aadmi Party, the congress, BJP, Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party and Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajawadi Party.

At the meeting, the congress leaders strongly gave their advice to the government to test all for COVID-19. Along with the test congress demand was to provide financial help of Rs 10,000 to a person who is infected with the disease. Government must take the help of medical students who are about to be graduated and they can serve for people’s healthcare as temporary doctors, this was one of the demands made by congress.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that by June 20, 18,000 COVID-19 tests will be conducted by the government. The testing capacity will increase within the next six days which is decided in the meeting with Mr.Kejriwal. Further, the government is coming forward to reduce the costs of the COVID-19 medication costs. To avoid contact and to keep social distance while detecting the infected people, there will be house to house health service.

AAP member Sanjay Singh said that COVID-19 test costs Rs 450 which will be affordable for everyone.

Last week, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi requested for an increase of beds in the hospital to treat coronavirus patients. He predicted the cases to increase up to 5.5 lakh by July end which also needs betterment facilities at hospitals.
