Did you ever imagine Indian weddings would be simple with no crowd? Lockdown made it possible. Before the coronavirus pandemic, weddings in India were meant to be bigger with huge crowds and expensive decor.

The COVID-19 pandemic proved the low budget weddings with no crowd are the best. Weddings are not an affair meant to be celebrated big and fat.

There are few people who postponed their wedding. But even lockdowns could not stop a couple from knotting. India is allowing weddings which do not exceed 5 family members or close ones. Police officials are attending the wedding to make sure the guests and people who are part of the wedding follow the health protocol like wearing masks and sanitizing hands.

Lockdown made the Indian weddings better and happier for the families. There is less pressure which would not be the same if there was no lockdown. Lockdown made it good for marriages as families are happy not to take dowry. They understand the current situation and totally accepted the dowry free weddings.

The expenses are several times less compared to normal Indian weddings. A few couples are preferring online weddings. The near and dear ones are blessing the couples through online. They are capturing the wedding with a phone camera which is a cool idea.

Recently a couple got married using the zoom app. Both the bride and groom- Sushen Dung and Keerti Narang connected their loved ones through the video app.
