India reports 43 COVID-19 confirmed cases in total

The total number of cases of being confirmed as infected by the deadly coronavirus in India has jumped to 43 with four more cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country.

Kerala has reported a child being confirmed of infected by the deadly novel coronavirus. The child has been identified as being three years of age who has flown down to Cochin International Airport on the 7th of March from Italy and the parents of the infected child are also being tested now for the deadly coronavirus.

Another report from Agra has said that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has increased to six in Uttar Pradesh after a factory worker has been tested positive after coming in contact with a businessman from Agra who was tested positive for being infected by the deadly coronavirus. The six members from the family of the businessman have been admitted to the Safdarjung hospital in New Delhi among which five of them have been tested positive for the deadly COVID-19.

The screening of more than 150 people who have come in close contact with the infected person who was a businessman of Agra, have been done by the health authorities.

Jammu and Kashmir has reported its first confirmed case of coronavirus in the meantime with a woman of 63 years of age and who has recently returned from Italy has been tested positive on the 9th of March.

The south Indian state of Kerala was the first state to report three confirmed cases of being tested positive for the deadly coronavirus which when three patients who have returned from the infected city of Wuhan in China have been tested positive for the infection. The three patients have also been discharged after being completely recovered at a a hospital where they have been quarantined and treated.

It has been clarified by the union health ministry that the man who has died in the isolation ward of a hospital in the district of Murshidabad in West Bengal has been tested negative for the deadly novel COVID-19. However, he has been admitted in the hospital with the symptoms of COVID-19 after he has returned from Saudi Arabia.

The deadly coronavirus which has been officially named as COVID-19 has been first identified in the Wuhan city of the Peoples Republic of China and the novel coronavirus has been reported of spreading at an alarming rate across China and also across several other nations claiming lives of several thousands of people and also infecting many more. The first case of death that has been recorded of being caused by getting infected by the deadly coronavirus has been first reported in Philippines.

Currently, the number of confirmed cases of being infected by the deadly novel COVID-19 has been recorded as the number being 114,422 in number and the deaths that have been caused by the deadly COVID-19 has been recorded to be 4,027 in number.
