K T Rama Rao who is the minister for IT and Industries in the state of Telangana has received an invitation in order to attend the India Conference which is going to be held at the Harvard Business School in Boston, in the United States of American on 15th and 16th of February.

The Industries, IT and Municipal Administration Minister has been invited to speak on smart cities in India at the India Conference- 2020 which is said to be organized by the Harvard University.

According to the official release, it has been said that “20/20 Foresight” would be the theme for the 17th edition of the India Conference.

The conference is said to be jointly conducted by the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School and is said to be the largest conference that focuses on India in the US with over 1,000 people attending the conference which includes students from both within and outside the Harvard, faculty, young professionals and industry leaders who are descent from India in the region.

The press release has said on Sunday that the organizers of the India Conference- 2020 have felt that the right person to speak on the smart cities in India would be the minister of Telangana who has been handling IT and Municipal Administration portfolios in the state of Telangana.

The official release has also said that Arvind Subramanian who was the former Chief Economic Advisor and the former union ministers Suresh Prabhu and Jayant Sinha are few among the key speakers at the conference that is being held at the Harvard Business School in Boston.

The press release has added saying that the other eminent personalities include Arun Poorie, Anupam Kher and Ritseh Agarwal who would speak at the event.
