It is said that Chand has complained of feeling uneasy while swimming in a pool of the hotel where the group stayed on Sunday in the afternoon. The organizer of the trip Sunil Jain said in a report, “He came out of the pool saying he felt tired and uneasy. His wife urged him to go along with her to the room and have some tea. But he couldn’t go up. Before reaching the stairs, he collapsed.”
He added saying that Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) which is done when the breathing or heartbeat of a person has stopped, and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation has also been performed by the lifeguard at the pool.
Jain also said that the ambulance has also reached the spot in around 10-15 minutes and all the trials which were done for saving him went in vain.
“The body of Chand will be flown home on the return flight he had booked for his 62nd birthday on Wednesday,” Jain said.
