After the incident of missiles attack on the US troops, the Iran’s ambassador to India said a statement that, the country is not looking for a war with the USA.

Hassan Rouhani, Iran’s supreme leader has tweeted regarding the assassination of the commander general Qassem Soleimani. He said in a tweet, “General Soleimani fought heroically against ISIS, Al Nusrah, Al Qaeda et al. If it weren’t for his war on terror, European capitals would be in great danger now. Our final answer to his assassination will be to kick all US forces out of the region.”

Following the crash of the Ukrainian International airlines flight near Tehran which killed 176 people, the Indian airlines were advised to be watchful and remain observant by looking to it that necessary precautions are being taken in airspace over Iran, Iraq, Gulf of Oman and waters of Persian Gulf, by the aviation regulator DGCA.

Air India has announced the temporary rerouting of its flights and about the usage of Iranian airspace by the subsidiary Air India Express. The airline’s spokesperson said, “In light of the tensions within the Iranian airspace a decision to temporarily reroute flights of Air India (AI) and Air India Express (AIX) overflying Iran has been taken. This may lead to increase in flying time by approximately 20 minutes for flights from Delhi and 30 to 40 minutes for flights from Mumbai.”
