Haridas Kotahwala of royal India USA has been elected as the president for the year 2020 by International Diamond & Colorstone Association Inc. (IDCA). The family of Haridas has been expert in gems and jewellery being the 4th generation who runs Royal India USA Inc. alongside his family with offices in Mumbai, Jaipur & US.

Haridas is one of the organization’s founding members and was a past president who has served in the year 2009.

The board has elected Nitin Johanputra from Sanghvi Diamond as the vice president  and Sujan Doshi from S.A. Diamonds was elected as a treasurer where as Shekhar Shah from real gems and Shiksha Naheta from Empresa Jewels will continue to serve as the group’s secretary and joint secretary respectively.

The board members of IDCA for the year 2020 include: Shrenil Bhansali from Fairway Diamonds, Prakash Mehta from Interings, Prashant Mehta from Dia Expressions, Sailesh Lakhi from Sparkles & Colors USA and Nilesh Sheth from Nice Diamonds who were re-elected as directors and the elected new directors were Parag Jain from Paramount Gems and Amit Jhalani from TBR International.

Rutali Gandhi from Sagar Star Corp. was elected as new board member and is the only second woman to the IDCA board in the 35-year history of the organization.
