Twitter India Summoned By Parliamentary Panel on Information Technology On February 11.
Social media Platform is facing allegations of Bias against “Right Wing Accounts”.
The parliamentary panel on IT headed By BJP leader Anurag Thakur On Tuesday summoned Twitter India over its bias attitude towards some of the accounts.
Anurag Thakur also tweeted the agenda of the panel’s meeting said
That committee will hear views of the representatives of Ministry of electronics and IT and Twitter on the subject ‘Safeguarding citizens rights on social media platforms’
The Parliamentary Commitee on Information Technology will examine the issue:

On Sunday, some of the members of ‘Youth for Social Media Democracy’ staged a protest in Delhi at the Office of Twitter India.
The people who participated in Protest alleged that the twitter has acquired an “Anti Right Wing Attitude.”
The protestors said that they are blocking accounts and impressions of the tweets and said they will not tolerate this; they will have to change their policy.
