An American journalist and author Kevin Cullen have been suspended by an American daily newspaper Boston Globe without pay for three months after finding inconsistencies in his remarks following the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

John Henry - Owner and publisher of STAT and the Boston Globe - American journalist & publishing executive Brian McGrory proclaimed on Friday that a self-directed review found Cullen probably fabricated some reports he shared in interviews after the bombing, which killed three people and bruised hundreds more.

In one of Cullen’s marathon bombing columns, an uncorrected error was noted by the review as well but didn’t find gestural of fabrication in other works.

Henry and McGrory say that Cullen, who was part of the Globe team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2014, didn't instantly comment, but has apologized.

When WEEI, sports radio station in Boston noted the inconsistency in Cullen’s work, Cullen has been on paid leave since April, and the paper launched its probe.
