Honey Preet Singh the adopted daughter of self-proclaimed “Godman” Ram Rahim has filed for an anticipatory bail in Delhi High Court on Monday.

Honeypreet is considered as one of the closest aid of Dera Chief Ram Rahim. She said that her life is under threat from drug dealers in Haryana and Punjab. She also said that “She is a single woman with clean antecedents”.

She said she is willing to join the investigation on Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim. Honeypreet’s bail plea is scheduled for hearing at 2 p.m on Tuesday. Since August 25, she has been on the run after Ram Rahim was taken into custody after being convicted of rape.

Several teams of Haryana police have travelled across the country to look for her, including the Indo-Nepal border. A day earlier, the court in Panchkula Haryana has issued arrest-warrant against Honeypreet.

Since Tuesday morning, Haryana Police has been conducting raids across Delhi and NCR to arrest Honeypreet in relation to violence that followed after Ram Rahim Conviction in two rape cases.
