Bank Robbed In Cleveland

Key Bank on the Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights was robbed on 8th April. The FBI said that they are working to identify the lone male suspect who robbed the bank.

According to the law enforcement authorities, the suspect walked into the bank at around 9:45 a.m. brandishing a black, semiautomatic pistol and also carrying a bag. The suspect approached the tellerline, jumped into the counter, and he shouted that he was robbing the bank.

He demanded the teller open their cash drawers and also get on the floor. He robbed two teller stations and also tried to get access to the bank's vault, but he was unsuccessful.

Then, the suspect ran out of the bank, heading to the east. The FBI said they are not sure if the suspect fled the area on foot or got into a car, but not the additional suspects were seen by the witnesses.

The suspect was completely masked, but is described to be a light skinned black male, approximately 5'7 to 5'8 height, weighing 160 to 180 pounds, and medium build. He also wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue mask, dark gloves, and also was carrying a black backpack/duffle bag.

This unknown subject is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Tips can provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Cleveland Heights Police Department or the Crimestoppers. Tips can remain as anonymous. Reward money is available for the information leading to successful identification and also prosecution of the individual responsible.
