Police Search For Missing Woman And Boyfriend

The Baltimore police are searching for a critically missing woman and her boyfriend. Tonja Deshaun Chadwick, aged 20, was last seen on Saturday in the 3400 block of Mayfield Avenue. Chadwick is described as 5 feet, and 2 inches tall and weighing 105 pounds.

Police said that the officers searched Chadwick's apartment and found evidence to suggest her disappearance is suspicious.

Relatives said Chadwick did not show up on Saturday to pick up her son from her aunt's house on the Mayfield Avenue in east Baltimore, that is the last place she was seen, police said. The boy is safe.

Marcell Thomas, a relative said, "She would not leave her son this long. It's not like her."

Deishaun Thomas, the father of Chadwick's son said, "I just pray everything is OK because I know my baby mother is a good mother. She'd never go nowhere by herself, never. That's why I know this situation is not right. I just pray if somebody seen her, can you please call 911."

The family said that Chadwick moved into an apartment with her boyfriend, Marco Jamal Holmes, aged 22, two days before she disappeared. Police searched the apartment, and that is when they said the case became suspicious."We found evidence that told us something was wrong, it was more than just a typical missing person as we see," the Baltimore police media relations Chief T.J. Smith said.

Police said later in the afternoon the investigators began searching for Holmes. Police said he has not been seen or heard for several days. Police said investigators are concerned about his well-being and want to talk to him in reference to the Chadwick's disappearance.

Holmes is 5 feet and a 5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He drivers a blue 2004 four-door Infiniti G35 with the Maryland license plates 9CS0691.
