UAE-Kerala relationship hit a new high with CM Visit!

The UAE and the South Indian state of Kerala relationship reached a new level with the visit of state chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Vijayan said he has invited His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to visit Kerala.

Vijayan said at a press conference in Dubai, that, “I have given the proposals in writing. Shaikh Sultan instructed his officials to look into them and take necessary action right in front of us.”

The chief minister also inaugurated an Indian school in the UAE's third largest city of Sharjah. The school is located in Juwaisa area in Sharjah and will enroll 6,000 students in the next academic year.

Vijayan also congratulated the Indian Association Sharjah for their efforts in offering affordable education to expatriate children.

With regard to his discussion with executives from a Dubai Holding company, Tecom Group, he said that, “They have also shown interest in collaborating with us for various projects in tourism, coastal area development and Ayurveda.”
