Hours before the state budgets of the Bhubaneswar security was beefed up around the city outskirts after continuous threat letter after blowing up the important installations in the capital including the Assembly, State Secretariat and Naveen Nivas is now under control of the police.

Though the letters did not give any clue but the state Commissioner of Police was not to take any chance, while the three-layer security arrangements have been made for the state assembly, and the 3 platoons of police have been deployed in and out of the city.

At the time of the assembly session, three dozen CCTV cameras will also keep an eye on the miscreants.

Director General of Police Sanjiv Marik while inspecting the security arrangements, the letters he was aware of the letter and necessary precautions have been taken.

The letter, which reached the Bhubaneswar DCP Office on Wednesday, only mentioned “Timer bomb. Naveen Nivas, State Assembly, BJP Office.”
