KM Mani, Finance Minister of Kerala state is in deep trouble after netizens decision to money order campaign. The minister is facing severe criticism over the allegations of corruption charges.

Angry netizens have been protesting his corruption charges in lenient liquor policy. They just started irritating him with money orders in a range of Rs 5 to Rs 500.

The veteran politician received more than Rs 15,000 in a day. The money is being directly sent to the minister’s address at Pala of Kottayam district. The postmen are also tired with dispatching the money order invoices.

The veteran minister, KM Mani, was recently accused by bar owners of taking 2 crore rupees as bribe to ensure a lenient liquor policy. However the state vigilance is now investigating the case.

The social media campaign began after young south Indian director Aashiqu Abu, who is also a social activist, posting a message on Facebook: “We must collect some more crores for our Mani sir who does not have money to feed himself. Here’s my contribution of Rs 500.”He also posted on Facebook a money order receipt for Rs 500.

Kerala's geek army leaped ahead and created an exclusive page called ‘ente vaka 500’, which means ‘here's my 500’.

Interestingly the page had more than 9,000 likes in very short time. “It really shows the angst of our youngsters. I hope such campaigns will help open some eyes,” said veteran journalist and activist B RP Bhaskar for admiring the campaigners.

Netizens of Kerala are trying to teach a lesson to the so called corrupted minister. In recent years ‘kiss of love’ campaign against moral policing and the ‘pink chaddi’ campaign against Sri Ram Sene’s Pramod Muthalik were popular from youngsters.

Long serving member of Kerala Assembly, KM Mani is yet to react to the ‘money order campaign’ or ‘ente vaka 500’.
