When Narendra Modi tweeted a selfie after casting his vote in Gandhinagar — something that infuriated his detractors and the Election Commission to no limits — it became a huge trend on Twitter. Not only was it the most “re-tweeted” item of the day, but also #SelfieWithModi was the second most trending topic in the country.

And now, as news of his landslide win comes in, expect Modi's selfie tweet with his mother to amass greater results. The selfie has got more than five thousand retweets within an hour. His selfie captioned:  “Sought blessings from my Mother.”

But the tech-savvy wouldn't stop at that. He has gone ahead and tweeted that people can congratulate him on his historic triumph on his Twitter Victory Wall. “I look forward to receiving good wishes on the specially created Victory Wall,” he wrote.

He also tweeted: “Grateful for your good wishes. Thank You for reposing your faith in NDA. This could not have been possible without your constant support & blessings. Share your good wishes on this specially created...”
