If elections were held now, the BJP stands a good chance of forming a government at the centre with its allies, according to the Times Now-CVoter national poll projection survey. On Thursday CVoter predicted BJP to garner the highest number of seats till date and the Congress its lowest.

The BJP could win upto 202 seats and its allies could garner 25 seats, meaning NDA would have 227 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha, revealed the Times Now poll projection. The Congress would manage only 89 seats and its allies 12, giving UPA just above 100 seats, the poll predicted.

CVoter survey attributed 215 seats to the "others", many among them having expressed support for Narendra Modi as prime minister, the chances of NDA to form government at the centre looks bright.

When it comes to vote shares all over the country, the NDA is likely to win 36%, the UPA 22% and others 42%, suggested the CVoter survey.

Debutant AAP will garner 8% of the votes in the Lok sabha polls, which is the highest by any party other than the BJP or Congress in any general elections held recently. AAP is likely to win seven LS seats, out of which four will be outside Delhi.

Political parties, which are not aligned to BJP or Congress, like the AIADMK and the Left have been projected to capture 27 seats each, while the Trinamool Congress will win 24, the BSP 21 and SP 20, revealed the CVoter survey.
