A US military helicopter out on a routine flying exercise at a low level crashed in north Norfolk on a coastal nature reserve last night. The aircraft had four crew onboard, and all of them were killed in the incident, according to reports in dailymail.co.uk.

The Pave Hawk from the American air force base at Suffolk's RAF Lakenheath, crashed and fell into flooded marshland from the sky. The U.S. Army's Black Hawk( modified version) specializes in troops recovery from war zones.

The crashed took place after 7pm near the shoreline and the helicopter's wreckage can be seen over a wide area covered with shingle and marshland. The victims of the crash haven't been named yet and are still onboard the aircraft. Meanwhile, the cause of the crash is being investigated by collecting information from the mishap site.

Besides, another helicopter that was with the striken aircraft is also being investigated. The second aircraft landed on the marshes inorder to assist if possible.

The crash might have reportedly taken place due to a bird strike as the weather condition was favourable.
