According to the annual reports of the London based Charities Aid Foundation, the world was more generous and giving place in 2012 than what it is today.

It's annual report, based on Gallup polls conducted across 135 countries and three important factors - donation, volunteering for help and offering aid to strangers most often, reveals which was the most charitable nation in 2013.

And the world's most generous nation 2013 is the US which came 13th when it came to donating money, third in charity and first place when it came to helping out someone in need.

So which country is the least charitable? Well, according to the report, that distinction goes to Greece.
