Fierce storm hits Australia!

On Friday, more than 20 people were injured when a tornado rushed through communities in Australia, with witnesses reacting that it's impact was like a bomb going off.

Fact-fully, the fierce storm hit several towns in Victoria state late Thursday.

According to Ambulance Victoria official Jon Byrne, with an incident like this, there is always the potential to be faced with mass casualties and that they were very grateful that they only had one person who was seriously injured. While most people suffered cuts and fractures after being hit by flying debris.

In fact, the intense impact resulted with houses getting destroyed and many others damaged, while trees were ripped from the ground and power lines felled by winds estimated at up to 250 kilometres per hour.

According to Corowa Shire deputy mayor Daryl Davey told ABC radio, they were hanging on to the windows at home. There was debris flying through the air and fences keeping everything  in the air at one stage which was just like a bomb went off.

Max Steward, the post office manager at Barooga, said the tornado only lasted about five minutes and that a couple of houses down the road were literally blown apart by the force of the wind. It just came out of nowhere just like a low-flying aeroplane roaring though communities.

It was indeed Unbelievable!
