Yanamala takes on YSR over alleged corruption

The corruption of the former chief minister, Y S Rajashekara Reddy would be remembered by the people for generations together, said the TDP polit bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu.

He has alleged that YSR indulged in scams worth crores for his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. He has also said that Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report highlighted the irregularities that took place during YSR’s rule. The CAG report stated that thousands of acres of lands were distributed on binamis, he added. He has said that TDP approached the High Court and filed a petition against the irregularities that took place in the state in 2004 and said the Court got convinced with their arguments and ordered CBI probe.

He has said that not just TDP but each and every political party in the state has been shouting against the corruption during YSR rule and said that even media has been highlighting the same.

Further, he said the country-never in its history-witnessed so many irregularities and scams.  Talking about the media that’s being run by Jaganmohan Reddy, Yanamala has said that Sakshi newspaper and newschannel have been publishing and airing fabricated stories on Chandrababu Niadu. The party would complaint against the same to the Press Council of India, he added.  He has also said that the Congress Party fears Jagan.

All in all, the alleged irregularities during YSR period are becoming weapons to the TDP leaders in the election campaign. (Phani)
