The Indian government held a banquet in Delhi to honor the Padma Vibhushan awardees, and Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family were in attendance. President Droupadi Murmuru presented Chiranjeevi with the award for his contributions to Indian cinema. The ceremony was organized by Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, and Chiranjeevi's wife, son, daughter-in-law, and daughter were all present. Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi's son, congratulated his father on Instagram and shared photos and a video from the event. Upasana Konidela, Ram Charan's wife, made a playful comment on the post. Chiranjeevi was originally named as a Padma awardee for 2024 on January 25, but due to his inability to attend the ceremony, he was presented with the award at the special ceremony in Delhi's Rashtrapati Bhavan. M. Venkaiah Naidu, the former Vice President, also received the Padma Vibhushan this year.

Chiranjeevi, a veteran actor and a superstar in the South, was showered with greetings from a number of industry people. Allu Arjun, Dil Raju, Varun Tej, Buchi Babu and others paid him a personal visit, and a spectacular celebration was held in his honour. During the celebration, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy congratulated him on his achievements, including receiving the Padma Bhushan award in 2006. Chiranjeevi has acted in over 150 feature films in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada, including well-known motion pictures such as Gang Leader, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Indra, Tagore, Rudra Veena and Swayam Krushi. Bhola Shankar (2023) was his last big-screen appearance.

Currently, the actor is working on Vishwambhara, his next socio-fantasy movie where he plays the protagonist opposite Trisha Krishnan. The film is directed by Mallidi Vassishta, who previously directed the fantasy drama Bimbisara, and produced by V. Vamshi Krishna and Pramod Uppalapati under UV Creations.
