Nandamuri Balakrishna is delighted with the super success of Akhanda and the film ended up as the biggest hit in the actor's career. Balakrishna signed his next film in the direction of Gopichand Malineni and the film is an action entertainer with all the mass elements. Balayya will be seen in a dual role in this film which is yet to be titled. A major portion of the film will be shot in USA and the other look of Balakrishna is kept under wraps. On the occasion of Balakrishna's birthday, the teaser and the title will be announced on June 10th.

Shruti Haasan is the leading lady and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. Thaman is scoring the music for this film. Balakrishna also signed his next film in the direction of Anil Ravipudi and the film's official announcement will be made on June 10th. The rustic look of Balakrishna will be unveiled through the poster. The female lead is finalized and Sree Leela will be seen in an important role. Shine Screens are the producers and the shoot commences in October. The film will hit the screens in summer 2023.
