Sonal Chauhan is all set to play one of the lead ladies to Ram in his upcoming movie 'Pandaga Chesuko'. The actress had become choosy after the success of 'Legend' and was taking time in committing to Telugu films.
The Jannat girl was zeroed down by the filmmakers after taking into consideration several heroines for the role. Sources reveal that Sonal will join the rest of the cast for shooting in the next schedule.
According to reports, the makers were impressed with her performance in the Balakrishna-starrer. The former model has been signed as one of the female leads in the upcoming film.
Gopichand Malineni is directing this project.
Veligonda Srinivas has written the script, which revolves around an NRI who visits India with a mission.
Actor Ram will be seen at his best in the upcoming film, according to a source. The character he plays is expected to bring out the live-wire in him, added the sources.
The romantic drama will also feature Rakul Preet, who recently replaced Hansika Motwani.
