Television's most successful stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma is going places, quite literally. The latest we hear is that he was in Tollywood to record a song with actress Shruti Hassan. The album will be composed by Sukhwinder Singh.

It so happened that the Comedy Nights host bumped into Shruti Hassan and during their chat, discovered that music and singing were their common interests. So they decided to collaborate. Makers of a popular music show will produce the album.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma is gearing up to make his acting debut in a YRF venture.

With hosting, acting and singing assignments in his kitty, seems Kapil Sharma is going to have a busy year ahead.
