Zomato happens to be one of the leading food delivery applications and it is now expanded across all the major cities and towns of the country. Zomato now announced plans of unlimited free delivery through Zomato Pro Plus members. Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of Zomato tweeted today saying "We have 1.8mn Zomato Pro members as of today. And one of the most requested features from our customers has been “Unlimited Free Deliveries” (something like Amazon Prime). So… in a few hours, we are launching our Limited Edition *Pro Plus* membership for select customers". Zomato Pro Plus will be available for selected customers after 6 PM and an invite would be present on their app.

Zomato has been levying delivery charges for the customers and they have been increased in the recent months after the pandemic. Zomato Pro Plus will not need to pay any distance fee or extra surge charges after the invitation is sent. Deepinder Goyal also posted "All Zomato Edition Black credit cardholders will automatically be upgraded to Zomato Pro Plus. Everybody else will need to buy the Pro Plus upgrade from the Zomato app. Fatafat le lena, baad mein shayad nahin milega". Zomato launched a membership program in the year 2017 as Zomato Pro. Through this, the customers can get additional discounts from selected restaurants and products. Now, Zomato Pro Plus is announced in the process of expanding Zomato. The food delivery app has 25,443 restaurants available in 41 cities of the country.
