Versatile actor Jayaram is all set to play Mammootty in his upcoming next. That's right!

The actor will play Mammootty in Benny Joseph's family drama “Mylanji Monjulla Veedu”, set in the backdrop of the Malabar Muslim families.

Young actor Asif Ali will star in an important role in the film that has been written by the scenarist duo Udaya Krishna-Sibi K Thomas.

Haneef Mohammed is producing the movie under the banner of Red Rose Creations.

Others in the cast include Madhu, Saikumar and Baburaj. The hunt is on for the female lead of the movie.

The movie, which will hit the floors immediately after Jayaram's “Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal”, will be entirely canned at Palakkad.
