Family relations are utmost important to lead a happy and prosperous life. Although most of know this fact, few of us do not share best relations with family, especially with siblings for whichever be the reason. And few of us cannot figure out ways to strengthen already existing relationship. If you think you need to develop good relation or strengthen your relationship with siblings, here are a few simple ways. After all, your siblings are your only relatives who travel with you most of your life.

Be patient

First and most important thing in any relationship is having patience. Have patience to take that extra effort to get closer and be a good listener. Golden rule is to stay neutral on issues, which have the potential to split siblings. Make a sincere effort to forgive childhood misdeeds. No matter how much closer you are to your sibling, avoid simple things like passing comments, digging about weight and so on.

Make a cameo visit

You will definitely make your presence at obligatory events like weddings, festivals, parties and so on. But you will be able to delight your sibling if you make a cameo visit as a surprise. This means something unexpected and make her feel special.

Become text friends

Frequent casual talks will tremendously help in strengthening your bond with your sibling. The technology is there all around to help you with this. Text a message every now and then, post a comment to give a little appreciation on Facebook. Each relationship has different depth. So you don’t have to get jealous or compare your relation with that of other siblings.

Do things together

One of the important things is to spend quality time with your sibling. Just take time to do small things together. This could be preparing a dish together, going out together for shopping. As along as you enjoy each others company, you keep strengthening your relationship automatically.
