Relationships involve emotions and its difficult to break off. The decision to call-off a relationship becomes all the more difficult if you are in a long-term relationship. But it's better late than to suffer in silence.

The most difficult part involves figuring out that something is wrong in your relationship. Most often couples don't realise that they are not right as partners. However there are some indicators that may help you to make a decision.

Is your would-be partner too secretive about money matters or has an inflexible attitude. These are signs for you to call-off your wedding.

In a relationship, the partners should be able to discuss comfortably the various issues. But if your would-be spouse refuses to discuss an important matter, like monetary issues, dubbing it as personal. Then it would be wise to call off the wedding as he could be infidel in money matters in future.

Transparency in money matters is an important aspect in a relationship. If your partner doesn't give you the correct amount that he spent on a boy's weekend or you have no clue where he gets his money from or refusing to disclose his credit card statements is not a healthy sign. Your marriage may be in financial crisis with such a person. So run

If your mate has an inflexible attitude then it is something to worry about. Relationship are about compromise and not competition. A happy relationship means both the partners compromise to make it work. Insensitive behaviour of your spouse, who is unwilling to consider your point of view on an issue, doesn't augur well for any marriage. So call it quits.
