Bollywood's love for gangster films as well as remakes is no secret. Toeing their favorite lines, Bollywood is once again looking down south for some celluloid inspiration. And the latest film to have caught their fancy is none other than actor Siddharth's latest musical-gangster flick “Jigarthanda.”

That's right! The producer of the superhit flick is being bombarded with phone calls from Bollywood, asking him for remake rights of it.

Starring Siddharth and Samantha, “Jigarthanda” has got rave reviews back home, piquing Bollywood's interest in the same.

“I have received calls from a few Bollywood producers who have expressed interest in remaking the film in Hindi, but nothing has been finalised. I can’t reveal more until anything goes on paper,” the film’s producer Kathiresan revealed.

Also starring Bobby Simhaa and Lakshmi Menon, it is the story of a wannabe director who closely follows a real gangster to make a gangster flick.

The Karthik Subbaraj-directed film that hit the marquee on August 1 has earned over Rs. 10 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office so far and is still going strong.
