'Kochadaiiyaan' might have failed to impress the audience as much as the makers had hoped for, but that's no disappointment for the Rajini fans.
For the first time in many years, the audience will be treated to a Rajinikanth movie, for the second time. His much-hyped 'Lingaa' will light up the big screens this Diwali, it's buzzed.
Apparently, Rajinikanth, whose last release before 'Kochadaiiyaan' was 'Endhiran' in 2010, wanted to make up for his long hiatus away from films and hence opted for a quickie role in KS Ravikumar's project.
Now, the entire team is slogging round the clock to wrap up the film at the earliest. The filming is progressing fast and the shooting could be wrapped up by August. Post that, the makers can start with the post-production works and movie promotions.
The movie is being directed by Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh. The film stars Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha in the female lead. AR Rahman has composed the songs for the film.
