It's official! Rajinikanth's magnum opus "Kochadaiiyaan" will open at the theaters on May 1, 2014.
Hailed as the biggest release of the year, this mega news was conveyed by Rajinikanth's PR on Twitter.
He wrote, "Superstar's Kochadaiiyan, India's First Photorealistic motion capture film..Going to Create History in releasing on May1st."
The stakeholders of Kochadaiiyaan met today (April 9) and decided to release the film on May 1.
This will give “Kochadaiiyaan” a four-day advantage starting from Thursday. This was why the makers decided to release the film on May 1.
Also starring Deepika Padukone, “Kochadaiiyaan” is a 3d motion-capture animated film made in a whopping budget of Rs 125 crores.
The Tamil flick also stars Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadhi, Nassar among others.
“Kochadaiiyaan” is a a fictional account of a Tamil Pandy king called Kochadaiiyaan Ranadheeran.
The movie has been helmed by none other than Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya Ashwin and has been produced by Eros International.
