Minister Modi will address the nation on 31st after the lockdown 4.0 ends. He may announce the lockdown 5.0 of the next phase to fight coronavirus.
PM Modi will come and give information on the next lockdown phase through his monthly radio Mann ki baat. He will discuss and set the measures, guidelines for the next lockdown. The sources predicting, most of India may be free from restrictions that are currently kept.
According to home ministry sources, lockdown 5.0 will more focus on 11 cities which account to 70% of COVID-19 cases in the entire nation.
The next lockdown is to monitor and focus on the prominent cities where coronavirus is highly affected. Some of the cities that fall into most affected are- Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Thane, Indore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Surat and Kolkata.
Around 60% of coronavirus cases of total 1.51 lakh cases in the country are from Ahmedabad, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Mumbai.
The government will announce the next phase of lockdown with virus controlling conditions. During this period, no religious events will be conducted which also includes festivals and fairs.
Wearing a mask and social distancing must continue as it is mandatory like in the current lockdown.
Educational institutions, malls and cinema halls will remain to be closed until further notice. Marriages and funerals are allowed with limited people.
