National flights will resume flying from Monday 25th May and bookings are allowed from today. The flight reopening is exactly after 2 months of nationwide lockdown. Meanwhile, the international flights wont move until the official announcement.

The flyers and the staff need to follow the health protocols to avoid coronavirus spread. Airports will make sure to minimize the contact while entering and at the time of boarding the flight.

Passengers need to submit a form with their past history of quarantine that is related to coronavirus. If any one of them are quarantined considering from a month back, they will be sent to security check at isolated cabins.

Passengers who kept their tickets ready must also keep the Arogya Setu app in their mobile phones. Flyers are only allowed one check-in baggage per head. The security will take measures while passengers are boarding- where they only need to board the flight in rows and people would not cross or touch each other.

Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri mentioned in the tweet- “Domestic civil aviation operations will recommence in a calibrated manner from Monday (May 25). Standard operating procedures (SOPs) for passenger movement are also being separately issued by the aviation ministry.”

The reputed Indian Airlines took it as an official announcement about flight recommencing which mentioned the date details. The airlines companies were puzzled about the situation on starting the flight and were stopped due to nationwide lockdown.
